German officials claim ISIS fighters have come into Europe disguised as refugees

GERMAN intelligence officials now believe hundreds of Islamic State (ISIS) fighters have made it to Europe disguised as refugees and taught how to apply for asylum before they are called on to strike.

The Federal Intelligence Service (BND) warns of jihadist fighters being specifically trained to hide among migrants and "not to attract attention."
German media reported how the terrorists are schooled in how to perform during police checks and while applying for asylum in Germany.

They also claimed that all nine of the Paris attackers of a year ago came to the continent disguised as refugees.
Only the bombmaker of the Paris cell is missing.

German newspaper Welt am Sonntag says the BND believe he was smuggled out of Europe by accomplices and is now back in Syria.

It quoted intelligence sources claiming that the Paris murderers were also planning a parallel attack on November 13 2015 on Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, possibly using the aid of terrorists who struck at Brussels Airport in March this year. It remains unclear why the attack did not come off.
Details found on a laptop of one of the suicide bombers who blew himself in Brussels revealed the plot.

Officials warned of jihadis specifically trained to hide among migrants

According to the newspaper, two terror suspects now in jail in Belgium went to Amsterdam on November 13 2015 with a one-way ticket by coach.

The plan was to check in to a hotel with false identities at Schiphol Airport.
They were reportedly members of the 'Airport Group' of the Paris cell.

The others were the 'Iraq Group' - who blew themselves up outside a soccer stadium in Paris - the 'French Group' which attacked the Bataclan nightclub, and the 'Metro Group' which targetted the underground system.

"Islamic State disguises fighters as refugees," was the headline on the influential Frankfurer Allgemeine newspaper on Sunday as Germany reacted with horror to the knowledge that hundreds of potential killers may now be in their midst instead of the few they had been led to believe.
The 1.3 million-plus migrants who poured into Germany as a result of Chancellor Angela Merkel's liberal open-door policy meant scant - if any - security checks on the bulk of them.
